Annual Shred Day – this is the 3rd year of this event which will take place on April 20th from 9:30 am – 11:30 am in the Cushing Chamber of Commerce parking lot! They have Chamber Member R.K. Black’s Shred truck behind the Chamber Office, to help you get rid of unwanted files, papers, magazines, etc. They recycle the shredding! This is a free benefit of your Chamber Membership, and cost for non chamber member is $25 a load. Cost varies with size of load.

 

 

CHS Drama – presents Robin Hood. April 20-21 at 6:30 pm and April 22 at 3:00 pm. Tickets are $5 in advance for students/teachers, and adults are $7. This event takes place at Dora Hobbs Performing Arts Center (Cushing).

Peace Bread & Joy DinnerSaturday, April 21 (2018) from 5:00 pm – 6:30 pm. Have dinner and visit! Brind dessert if you’d like. Come early or stay late to help with set-up, clean-up, or serving. This event takes place at the First United Methodist Church, at Ninth and Little in Cushing.

 

Cushing Pride Event – on Sunday, April 22nd (Earth Day) from 2 to 4:30 pm (trash clean up). All volunteers should meet at City Hall prior to 2 pm.

Kings Detail LLC made a generous donation to this coming Sunday’s Cushing Pride event (on April 22nd) with the “Clean Up” theme in mind. They will be giving away two gift certificates for a “Full Detail” package on any personal vehicle or SUV of your choice from Kings Detail LLC. One of the certificates will be drawn after the event, and the second gift certificate will be given as a prize for a contest to be explained at the event. Each certificate is valued at $130.00 and cannot be redeemed for cash. So come out for a little clean up fun Sunday afternoon.
