Staff reports

(Drumright, Okla.)  On Friday the historic bridge in Drumright received its first layer of asphalt and is on its way to re-opening.  Weather-permitting, the final three layers will be put down on Monday, March 25th.  At least one lane is expected to be open by April 1st.

Businesses in downtown Drumright have all been affected by the road closing, as well as residents in the area.  Until the road is open, drivers – especially large trucks – are urged to use the truck route instead of making their way through residential areas.
