(Cushing, Okla.)  The Carson & Barnes Circus pitched its tent at the Elk’s Lodge, located at 707 N. Norfolk Road in Cushing for a one day only performance today.

Show times are at 4:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. Complete with elephants, horses, ponies and performance artists from around the world, circus goers are sure to be entertained and amazed. Tickets purchased on show days are $16 for adults and $10 for children 12 and under.

The midway opens one hour before show time with a FREE petting zoo, plus elephant and camel rides. Adults and children were treated to a sneak peek at the Elk’s Lodge this afternoon while members of the Cushing Fire Department washed the elephants getting them ready for their performance.

The Carson & Barnes circus, based in Hugo, Oklahoma and have been touring North America with their most traditional of American Big Top Circuses for four generations.
