The family of Bill Ricks stood on the field before kick off Friday night against the purple pirates as the Cushing School district presented a plaque that reflected the loyalty and years that Bill Ricks spent watching Cushing sports. Ricks also reported on Tiger sports for many years at the Cushing Daily Citizen and could always be found at a Tiger sporting event.
Bill passed away earlier in 2008 and with the start of Cushing’s 2008 Season underway he will be missed in the stand and will forever be remembered as one of the Tiger’s most loyal fans.
