Playlist Note (What does appearing on this list mean?): Essentially, an add to KUSH is an add to a rotation that gets directed play on the Donna and Molly Morning Show weekdays from 7 a.m. to 10 a.m., the Americana Hour on weekdays at 10 a.m., on Saturdays from 11:30 a.m. to 6 p.m., and on Sundays from noon to 6 p.m. KUSH programs a total of about 30 potential hours with Americana music either as  a featured element of the morning show, or part of the current Americana rotation in the hours previously stated.
AIRPLAY COPIES should sent to KUSH, Attn: Hugh Foley, Music Director, Box 791 Cushing, OK 74023. Hugh Foley may also be contacted by e-mail at [email protected]

Artists performing in Stillwater, Tulsa, or Oklahoma City, or labels with music in Wal-Marts (six in our area), Hastings Books and Music (Stillwater), or online, which even the hicks out in north central Oklahoma can gain access for internet purchases, should consider submitting review copies of discs for adds on one of the few independently-owned commercial radio stations in Oklahoma that programs new, independent, and Americana music.

After recommending Americana music as potential programming element to KUSH G.M. Sean Kelly, from 1998 through 2012, Hugh Foley reported Americana Adds to the Gavin ReportRadio and Records,Billboard, and, finally, the Americanaradio.org chart through fall, 2012, at which time KUSH was removed from the list of reporters due to faulty communication between the station management and the americanaradio.org radio committee. KUSH is currently appealing that decision and hopes to be a reporting member of the americanaradio.org chart soon. KUSH submitted its request to Americana Radio.org in early June, 2012, and have not heard any word by the first week of July. Thanks to long-time promoter friends and consistent musical connections develop through the years friends who keep sending us the good stuff. KUSH maintains its BMI/ASCAP license and remains committed to playing American roots music, authentic country and western music, singer-songwriters, and new blues, as well as popular country music artists who have ties to Oklahoma.
