Judith Kay (Roberts) Browning, a longtime Oilton resident, passed away on Friday, October 31, 2014 at the age of 66.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, November 5, 2014 at the Oilton High School Gymnasium, Oilton. Reverend Larry Calvert and Mr. Matt Posey will officiate. Interment will follow at Highland Cemetery, Oilton, Ok.

Arrangements are entrusted to Palmer Marler Funeral Home, Oilton, Ok.

Visitation will be from Noon to 8:00 p.m. on Monday, 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Tuesday at the Palmer Marler Funeral Home, Olton.

Judith was born on March 23, 1948 in Shidler, Oklahoma to the late Charles Coleman and Reva Lee (Ollar) Roberts. She grew up in Burbank, graduating from Burbank High School in 1966. Judith babysit for a short before marrying the love of her life John W. Browning on March 3, 1967 at their preachers home in Oilton. She worked for Dalton’s and Pact Gas Company for a couple years before beginning her career at Oilton High School for 31 years. She worked as the Principal’s secretary, lunch supervisor and transportation coordinator. Judith loved working for the school and caring for the children. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Oilton. Judith enjoyed crocheting, traveling, fishing and camping.

She especially loved spending time with her grandchildren.

Survivors include her husband, John W. Browning of the home, sons John W. Browning II and wife Tena of Oilton, Jerry Lee Browning and wife Stephanie of Oilton, sisters

Janice Marie McInturf of Sunny Slope, Ok. and Mary Ann Medlin of Broken Arrow, Ok., brothers John W. Robertsand wife Rozy of Ft. Worth, Tx., Don Roberts and wife Dena of Fairfax, Ok, Tom Roberts and wife Nora of Humble, Tx., Ken Roberts and wife Phyllis of Burbank, Ok.,Lyndon Roberts and wife Judy of Pawhuska, Ok., three grandchildren Preston Floyd, Jason Wood, Grant Kelly.

She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Charles “Tony” Roberts, sisters Clara Ruth Roberts, Carolyn Mae Culp, Charlene Faye Kuykendall.
