After hitting the streets during this past weekend, collecting over six hundred dollars in White Cane Buckets, club members along with visitors gathered at the Lions Den on West Broadway for the White Cane Auction held at noon on Tuesday, April 15. A variety of donated items up for auction ranged from golf clubs to a photo taken by local photographer and Lion Club member,Tom Cummings. Bobby Simpson auctioned off the donated items in a true auction style to help the local Lions Club in their quest to aide the Perkins Boys Ranch and the Oklahoma Eye Bank for the Lion’s Club 2008 White Cane Month. Lion Club members will continue to take donations during the month Of April.
