(Cushing, Okla.) The following information is based on a preliminary collision report furnished by the Department of Public Safety (DPS).


A personal injury collision occurred on May 22 (2018) at approximately 09:58 am on 9th Street at the intersection of Brethren Road, which is located approximately 3.5 miles west of Cushing, in Payne County.


Involved in the collision were Charles Larry English (61) of Blanchard who was driving a 2005 Chevrolet Uplander and Amber Leigh Golden (32) of Cushing who was driving a 2011 Hyundai SUV.


English was transported by a personal vehicle to the Urgent Care Clinic (OKC) where he received treatment and was released.


Golden was transported by personal vehicle to Cushing Hillcrest Hospital in stable condition where she received treatment and was released. Her passenger in the 2011 Hyundai SUV, Timothy Wilson (34) of Cushing, was transported by Cushing ambulance to Cushing Hillcrest Hospital and onto OU Medical Center. A juvenile female (9) of Cushing was transported by Air-Evac helicopter to OU Medical Center (OKC) and a juvenile male (10) of Cushing was transported by Cushing Ambulance where he was treated and released.  Both juveniles were passengers in the Golden vehicle.


According to the DPS report seat-belts were in use.
