Forrest Sanford Thompson, born in Cushing, OK. on August 7, 1913. He went through Heaven’s gates October 28, 2014 at the age of 101 in Cushing, OK.
Arrangements are entrusted to Palmer Marler Funeral Home, Cushing, Ok.
Memorial services will be in Montana at a later date.
Making a full circle of life. He resided in Bigfork, Montana and was visiting family. He married Neva Fae Sible on July 29, 1935. He had 5 children, Forrest Wayne, Dale Lee, Judith Ann Thompson Lambert, Betty Jane Thompson Jordan, Thomas Sidney Thompson.
He had five generations living in Montana and now there are four.
He is survived by eight of his nine grandchildren; Dyanna Lynn Thompson, , Lisa Lambert Jester, Donna Sue Thompson Cox, Neva Marie Jordan Crozier, Dale Wayne Thompson, John Forrest “Shorty” Jordan, Summer Thompson, Chaunce Thompson; nine great grandchildren, Mandi Seward Kelly, Jennifer Langstorf Jasmin, Nicole Thompson, Taylor Wayne Thompson, Jeffrey Jordan Crozier, Michael Patrick Crozier, Kayla Jo Jordan, Zachary Lester, Megan Lester; six great great grandchildren; Jarvis, Josh, Jacob, Alex and Hope Jasmin, Noah Kelly, and his many niece’s and nephew’s.
Forrest was preceded in death by his wife Neva of 59 years, sons; Forrest and Dale, daughter, Judith, sister’s, Adella Thompson, Edna Thompson Hicks; brother, Roy Leon and “Little Big Brother” Major Earl Wayne Thompson, USMC retired, and grandson Robert (Scooter) Lambert.

He was a carpenter and a cabinet maker all of his life, retiring at the age of 93 years. He was best known for his custom designs of the doors now used on cabinets, and custom work throughout Southern, CA., Las Vegas, NV and Reno, NV, his cabinets were on the “Price is Right” with Bob Barker.
He was a man that had a quick smile and a kind word to give with his humor, and he would stand on his head to make the kids laugh. I never met anyone who wasn’t charmed by him, he love his family and friends and his “Ice Cream.”
