(Holdenville) – The OSBI is investigating a fatal shooting in Holdenville. Authorities say Brandon Sanford was shot and killed inside a Holdenville home early Wednesday morning. The home was that of his former girlfriend. When the 31 year old arrived at the home unexpectedly, his former girlfriend, her sister and two other men were inside.
A fight ensued between Sanford and one of the two men. Moments later Danny Dawkins (one of the two men inside the home) shot and killed Sanford with a single gunshot to the chest. OSBI is not releasing the type of weapon used at this point. Dawkins and James Bradley left the home.
Wednesday evening Dawkins (dob 8-13-81), Bradley (1-23-85) and one of the women, Shonna Jennings (dob 12-17-88), were arrested at a home in the 1500 block of Foster Street in Seminole. Dawkins was arrested for first degree murder. Bradley and Jennings were arrested for accessory to murder.
