Hundreds of folks flooded into Basic Energy Sources located on North Linwood Friday evening to enjoy the great food and fellowship provided by the API Northeastern Chapter as part of their annual membership drive.
This Northeastern API Chapter formed in 1929 and continues to be a strong part of the community, supporting and donating to such causes as hospice, the Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts, as well as awarding one scholarship annually to an area high school student meeting the required criteria in oil related study. The chapter also helps assist oilfield workers who have been injured and families of oilfield workers in need.
