Fundraisers such as Relay for Life rely heavily on the exhuberance and passion of its sponsors to help spread the word and spur interest.
Sponsors of this year’s Relay included (but not limited to) Bank of Cushing, Drumright Dental Center, Oak Grove Baptist, Harmony Elementary, Randy Robnett – State Farm Insurance, Cushing Regional Hospital, and a returning favorite – the Diamond Valley Divas.
Relay for Life was held Friday evening. Results from that fundraiser will be reported once they are all in.
Remember: the need for volunteers is always great, but the pay off for being one is even greater.
