Doris Ann Hatfield, age 80 of Cushing passed away on Sunday, May 4, 2014 at the Drumright Hospital, Drumright, Ok. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday May 7, 2014 at the Palmer Marler Funeral Home Chapel. Pastor Bill Allton will officiate. Interment will follow at Euchee Valley Memorial Park, Cushing, Ok.

Doris was born on August 7, 1933 in Antlers, Oklahoma to the late Obie and Irene (McMahan) Scott. She grew up and attended school in Capitol Hill in Oklahoma City and graduated from Maysville High School in 1952. She married the love of her life Dick Hatfield on September 20, 1957 in Oklahoma City. They moved to Cushing in 1976. Doris worked for Kelley Temp. Service in Oklahoma City, the Cushing Daily Citizen, and Yukon Review and then was self-employed with the Daily Oklahoman with her husband. She enjoyed sewing, cooking, bowling, and gardening. Doris loved spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She is survived by her children Alan Hatfield of Drumright, Clint Hatfield Sr. and wife Melodie of Cushing, and Crecia Rylant and husband Marty of Cushing, grandchildren Brad Turner and wife Alisa, Clinton Hatfield Jr. and wife Teressa, Celestine Hatfield, Cody Cackler and wife Ashley, Brooke Spargo and husband Jason, Braxton Gilleland, Dakota Hatfield, Jeremiah Hatfield, Devon Holets Hatfield, Kyra Hatfield and Kaleb Rylant, eight great grandchildren and two on the way.
