In attempts to ensure the safety of our students, parents, and motoring public, the Cushing Police Department will have an increased law enforcement presence throughout our community.

Officers will be highly visible throughout our community enforcing traffic laws, which is designed to target speeders, aggressive drivers, and those failing to stop for school buses.

Chief Tully Folden said, “We would like to encourage everyone to plan ahead and allow extra time for your morning commute, as everyone adjusts to their new schools and bus routes.”

Cushing police officers will specifically target the 25 M.P.H. school zone in the 1500 – 2200 blocks E. Main Street, the 20 M.P.H. school zone in the 400 – 600 blocks S. Little Avenue and 40 M.P.H. and 45 M.P.H. speed zones in the 2000- 2300 block of east Main Street.
