(Cushing, Okla.) — Authorities are searching for a 51-year-old Cushing man accused of breaking into a woman’s house in the 900 block of E. Walnut in Cushing with the intent to commit theft and assault and battery, court records show.

An arrest warrant has been issued for Richard Marcus Rollins, who has also been known as Marcus Mark Rollins and Mark Rollins, according to court records.

Officers were dispatched to the 900 block of E Walnut at 6:46 pm on March 2 on a report of a female screaming for someone to call police, an affidavit said.

The victim “was holding toilet paper soaked in blood to her nose,” when Cushing Police Investigator Matt Piatt saw her, according to his affidavit.

“I could see her mouth was also full of blood. I saw blood on her pants and on the front concrete porch,” the investigator wrote in his affidavit.

She said “Marcus Rollins opened her door, put a guitar down and then punched her in the face,” the affidavit alleged.

She said “Rollins also took her phone and she was unable to call the police department for help,” the affidavit alleged.

Asked why Rollins would hit her, “she stated he was mad he lost his phone,” the affidavit alleged.

She said, “Rollins has not lived at her house for a month and he believed he left it there when he moved out,” the affidavit said.

She said, “she and Rollins were in a relationship for a short amount of time,” the affidavit said.

“I asked where Rollins was currently and she stated Rollins left eastbound from the residence,” the affidavit said. Police searched the area, but did not locate Rollins, the affidavit said.

Her daughter arrived and said “her mom’s phone was on her phone plan and she was currently tracking it. (She) pulled up a map and it showed the phone was one-half block southwest of our current location,” the affidavit said.

The investigator recovered the phone in an alley behind a residence in the 900 block of E. Maple Street: “The phone screen was destroyed,” according to the affidavit.

When Wings of Hope was contacted, the woman spoke to an advocate, the affidavit said.

The woman, who said her left jaw area was also hurting, said she could not afford to go to the hospital, the affidavit said.

Rollins, who is 6’4 and weighs 280 pounds, was not found, the affidavit said.
