NASHVILLE, TN (October 21, 2015) – Hot new independent Country duo, Makenna & Brock, are lighting fires across the country with their debut single, “Burnin’ The Night Down.” Makenna Sullinger and Brock Wade, a real-life couple – on and off stage – are impressing fans and the music industry with their charm, chemistry and undeniable talent.
In the past few weeks, the duo, and their whip-crack band wowed an SRO crowd at their single release party hosted in Branson, MO, by one of their principal sponsors, Parakeet Pete’s Entertainment Group. They made a whirlwind trip to Nashville to meet with national booking agencies, and plan strategy with their radio team, GrassRoots Promotion, and they met with, and performed for, music industry media outlets, where their powerful, passionate vocals and personalities impressed everywhere they went; AND they sat in with Nashville songwriter royalty at the Pensacola Beach Songwriters Festival, causing such a stir that they were immediately booked to perform at the prestigious event in 2016.

Wasting no time in capitalizing on every opportunity, Makenna & Brock are preparing for their second National Anthem performance for the St. Louis Rams on November 1st, concert dates across the country, state fair showcases, and radio tours to promote their single.
Makenna & Brock – who split their time between their home base of Springfield, MO and Nashville – first captured the hearts of millions of viewers and all four judges as Top-12 finalists on the hit television show, The X-Factor in 2011. Their show-stopping performance garnered critical acclaim from the esteemed judging panel, which included Simon Cowell, Paula Abdul, Cheryl Cole, and L.A. Reid, Chairman/CEO of Island Def Jam Music Group. Subsequently, Makenna & Brock received exposure in major publications such as People, the Washington Post, Rolling Stone, and many prominent websites, including CNN.com, CBS.com, and MTV.com.

ABOUT MAKENNA & BROCK:
Missouri-born Makenna & Brock first met in 2007 while performing at a Children’s Miracle Network benefit show. They instantly connected, both on and off stage, beginning a musical partnership as well as a becoming great friends and lovers. In 2009, they toured throughout the United States, sharing bills with acts such as James Otto, Uncle Kracker, and Sheryl Crow. Makenna & Brock notched one of their first big breaks in 2011, when they were selected as Top-12 finalists on the American version of Simon Cowell’s hit television show The X-Factor. A number of high profile opportunities followed this experience and in the summer of 2014 they were invited to tour with the PBR (Professional Bull Riders) as their official National Anthem performers as well as their after-party concert entertainment. They landed coveted slots singing the National Anthem for the St. Louis Rams as well as at The Texas NASCAR 500 Speedway. Throughout the year, they shared the stage with artists including Granger Smith, Cowboy Troy, Parmalee and Keith Anderson. In addition, their dedication to helping others landed headlining slots for them at a number of major charity events. In April 2015, the duo signed with Nashville Music Row veteran, Clif Doyal, for artist development, management and publicity, and they began work on their debut single. In addition, they performed various shows during CMA Music Festival this year and shared bills on their Summer tour with Jon Pardi, Chase Rice, Waterloo Revival, and others.
