(Stillwater, Okla.) — An ex-convict was charged today with committing two counts of third-degree burglary and one count of knowingly concealing stolen property this morning in Stillwater — about six weeks after he was released from prison, court records show.
Spencer Blaid Morgan, 23, of Stillwater, has been jailed pending his arraignment by video this afternoon before a Payne County judge on his three-count charge.
According to state Department of Corrections records, Morgan had previously been convicted of:
* second-degree burglary in Rogers County in 2018, for which he was given a three-year prison term in 2019, but he only served 13 months before his release on Feb. 24;
* possessing a taken credit card in Payne County in 2016, for which he was placed on three years of probation in 2017;
* possessing stolen property in Payne County in 2015, for which he was placed on two years of probation in 2019;
* possessing stolen property in Payne County in 2015, for which he was placed on two years of probation in 2019.
