Cushing Mayor John Henckel proclaimed May 8th, Cushing Relay for Life Day at Monday’s regular monthly meeting.
Accepting the proclamation was Relay for Life chairman Marcia Pixler. Mayor Henckel said, “Relay for Life is honoring cancer survivors and remembering those who’ve lost the battle.”
Relay for Life will take place at Cushing High School’s O’Dell Field on May 8th. It is an overnight event to raise funds for the American Cancer Society.
