(Cushing, Okla.) The following information is based on a preliminary collision report furnished by the Department of Public Safety (DPS).
A personal injury collision occurred on April 21st (2018) at approximately 01:23 am on SH48 near 291st Street South, approximately 6 miles south of Bristow, in Creek County.
Kristian E Gore (36) of Bristow, was driving a 1999 GMC Suburban 4 x 4 northbound on SH48, when she stated she look down at her phone, and ran off the left side of the roadway striking a ditch causing the vehicle to roll ¼ time, prior to coming to rest on the passenger side.
Gore was transported by Creek County EMS to ST John Hospital (Tulsa) where she was admitted in stable condition.
According to the DPS report the cause of the collision was due to inattention. Seat-belts were equipped and in use at the time of the collision.
