STILLWATER — A bench warrant has been issued for the arrest of former Yale resident Marcus Jack Spradlin, who failed to appear in court on Feb. 13 before District Judge Jason Reese for sentencing on multiple felony charges after being terminated from Payne County Drug Court.
Spradlin, 28, had pleaded guilty on Aug. 23, 2024, to identity theft in Cushing in May of 2024, obtaining property by false pretense in Stillwater in December of 2023, and possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute in rural Yale in May of 2023.
Spradlin listed a Stillwater address when was released on a personal recognizance bond by the judge on Aug. 23, 2024, to enroll in and successfully complete Drug Court from which he was terminated on Jan. 21, 2026, after repeatedly failing to appear in court, records show.
In his last felony case filed in Payne County, Spradlin was accused of using a Washington man’s identity on May 21, 2024, and a Texas woman’s identity on May 25, 2024, to rent a room at the Executive Inn & Suites in Cushing.
A year earlier on May 11, 2023, Spradlin’s mobile home in the Quail Crossing RV Park east of Highway 18 on 44th Street in rural Yale was searched on a federal warrant by FBI agents and Payne County Sheriff’s Investigator Brandon Myers. Spradlin was later freed on $100,000 bond on a Payne County charge of trafficking methamphetamine, which was reduced to possession with intent to distribute the drug when he pleaded guilty on Aug. 23, 2024.
Spradlin was also accused of obtaining four tires worth $1,232. from Firestone Tires in Stillwater on Dec. 27, 2023, by fraudulently using an account belonging to a woman living in Philadelphia, Pa., court records show.
