Molly continues a much needed break and the Donna and Molly Show continues with a guest co-host appearance by Bruce Vogt on a Magic Monday.
Join Bruce and I, we’ll talk to Bobby Bryant about job opportunities and the latest news for veterans, as part of our update with Oklahoma Job Force located in Stillwater.
Monday is Columbus Day observed, and some institutions such as banks and post offices could be closed, so check first before heading out to do your regular business.
For a Tempting Tuesday episode on October 11, Bruce Knoch will join me as my guest co-host. Bruce can be seen from time to time at the Tuesday Night Music Club and he and Mr. Kelly (known as Kelly and Knoch in the music world) can be found picking and grinning often at the radio station. Bruce is a lot of fun!
As always, Brent Thompson, Director for the Cushing Chamber of Commerce will join us in Studio B, and most likely talk about the success of this past weekend’s Festival In The Park. We’ll welcome Brent Kerr, Cushing’s Fire Chief into Studio B to talk about the current burn ban that remains in effect for Cushing as well as Payne County.
We’ll also talk with Brent about the upcoming Breast Cancer Awareness Luncheon – once again – the Cushing Firefighters will serve guests on October 25, at the First Methodist Church for this event.
Bruce has invited a musical guest, set to take to the air waves of 1600 AM at 9:30 and will entertain our masses until 10:30 am! Yes, that’s right… we’re going to extend the Donna and Molly Show Tuesday – you won’t want to miss it!
Wednesday, October 12, Mr. Kelly himself, will join me for the show, from 7 to 8:30 am – and then our newest staff member, Terri Blevins will relieve the boss from 8:30 am to 10 am. We will visit with Angela, who is helping Kent Taylor, the band director for the Ripley School Band. As time draws to a close on raising funds for the band’s trip to Pearl Harbor for the 70th anniversary of this historic event on December 7th, we’ll put in a final call for donations and details of this upcoming band trip, only one of thirteen bands across America chosen for this celebration. Tune in to see how you can help!
Other surprises could be in store – so don’t miss our Wacky Wednesday episode.
On a Thankful Thursday, Molly will be back in Studio A – hopefully all rested and ready to roll for our 7 to 10 am morning show!
I’ll be joined by Lee Denney ( by phone) at 7:15 am and at 8 am, Jim Luman with www.gripeatme.com will join me in Studio B.
Jim will join me to talk about this unusual website, one that boasts of taking your phone calls – one that realizes that sometimes, you JUST need to be heard to de-stress and decompress… and they’ll let you have “your way” with them! This should be a most interesting conversation on a most interesting concept indeed! Jim will be giving out gift cards – so listen in and see how you might win – and get your chance to “let it all out” with this unique way of venting!
On a Fabulous Friday, Molly will return to Studio B – and hopefully, we will have Tiger Time at 7:30 am. The CHS football team beat the number one state ranked – 4A team, the OKC Douglass trojans last Friday, at O’Dell Field – final score: 16 to 7 – a upset and a game that Cushing fans will talk about for years to come!
It’s all on this week’s Donna and Molly Show – Mondays through Fridays from 7 to 10 am on 1600 AM radio and on our streaming link found on the news page of our website on the right side bar.
Go ahead and listen in…. we just might be talking about YOU!
