(Cushing, OK) Celebrate Recovery, Cushing celebrated 1 year of service to the Cushing and surrounding communities Monday, April 15, 2019. There were more than 40 in attendance and among those were Oklahoma House of Representative, John Talley and Director of Love INC, James Austin.
Celebrate Recovery is a Christ-centered recovery support group. It is a safe place to share your hurts, habits, and hang-up’s which come in many forms. People assume because of the word recovery it is for those struggling with addiction. While it is for those too, there are many things holding people back from fulfillment of life and a closer relationship with God such as depression, co-dependency, over-eating, anxiety, control issues, pride, sexual addiction, and/or gambling just to name a few. Celebrate Recovery is in 35,000 churches nationwide.
The meetings are every Monday evening with dinner served at 6:30pm and large group at 7pm. Celebrate Recovery meets at First Christian Church, 300 E Moses, Cushing, OK. Nursery is provided.
