There are changes on the horizon for those participating in the food ministry program known most recently as SHARE Colorado. According to information released by the First Christian Church Food Ministry, SHARE Colorado was recently purchased by Harvest Sharing, a 501 c (3) nonprofit organization. Harvest Sharing is operated by longtime supporters Bill and Diane McKnight of Colorado Blue Ribbon Foods. The McKnight’s are known to be dedicated to ensuring high quality foods. It is their hope to grow the food program through the resources of Colorado Blue Ribbon Foods. McKnight’s staff includes a master chef, graduate of Le Cordon Bleu program of the Scottsdale Culinary Institution. The new organization has been renamed FOOD SHARE AMERICA.
“We expect some great menu ideas in the future,” wrote Mike Howell, food ministry program coordinator. “We know you’ll love the new changes and we couldn’t be more excited!”
