(Tahlequah, Okla) — The Illinois River Jam is an annual camping and music gathering held on the banks of the Illinois River. For more than 10 years, music fans have come to Peyton’s Place on scenic Hwy 10 to enjoy talented bands, songwriters and pickers in beautiful Northeast Oklahoma.
Artists this year are Steve Poltz, Travis Linville, Nobody’s Girl, Mike Hosty, Samantha Crain, Emily Gimble, Beau Jennings & the Tigers, John Calvin Abney, Kierston White, Husbands, Kyle Reid, The Skillbillies, Andy Adams, The Aints, Ethan Azarian, Kevin Daniel, The Contraband.
Two evenings of music, on one stage, under a big tent, set up in the campground. This is a fall festival after the busy summer tourist season so the weather is usually beautiful and we have the place all to ourselves. This weekend is a great way to enjoy the river without the wild summer crowds and a great way to enjoy world class live music without the big festival crowds. We don’t do the $8 beer line thing…it’s BYOB…bring in all the food you want. Bring your kids. Bring your dog. Bring your favorite lawn chair. If your uncle starts getting really loud after he drinks nine tall boys of natty light then please don’t bring him. Our policy is strictly friendly and chill. In an effort to keep this a small festival, tickets to the event are limited are on sale now!
