Alberta Leon Wright passed away at the age of 93, on October 15, 2015 in Midwest City with his loving family by his side. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, October 20, 2015 at the Palmer Marler Funeral Home Chapel, Cushing, Oklahoma. Interment will follow at Flynn Cemetery.

Abb was born on August 15, 1922 to the late Tell B. and Dora (Faires) Wright in Avery, Oklahoma; he grew up in the surrounding areas and attended Ravendale Public Schools. Abb meet and married the love of his life Wanda Talley on January 11, 1940, and to this union three children were born, Jeannine, Sharon, and Terry. Abb soon joined the United States Navy in 1944 and was honorably discharged, together they moved to Del City where they made their home.
Abb enjoyed many things, going to the horse races, coaching baseball, playing dominoes, and fishing in as many different places as he could. He also enjoyed bird hunting and tinkering in his shop, but most of all he loved spending time with his children and grand children, and great-grand grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.
He is survived by one daughter: Sharon Jefferson, one son: Terry Wright and wife Kathy, ten grandchildren, twenty great grandchildren, and nineteen great-great grandchildren.
Proceeded in death by his parents, wife Wanda, and one daughter: Jeannine Dickerson, two: brothers, and one: sister and one son in-law: John Dickerson.
