(Cushing, Okla.) The girls and boys varsity basketball teams met up with the Glenpool warriors on Tuesday night after coming off wins in last weekend’s Mannford tournament – Glenpool will return east without a win to show for in tonight’s Cushing matches.
In varsity girls action:
First quarter ended with a score of Cushing: 12 to Glenpool’s – 4 points and by halftime the lady tigers went to the locker room with a 30 point lead over the lady warriors second quarter points of 5.
In the third quarter action – Cushing put the heat on Glenpool driving the score to:
Cushing – 50
Glenpool – 8
At the end of the game, it was a clear win for the lady tigers with a final score of:
Cushing – 61
Glenpool – 15

In varsity boys basketball action, Glenpool started off leading the first quarter by putting 8 points up to Cushing’s 7 points.
Second quarter action stayed neck in neck with a ending score of Glenpool at 12 and Cushing at 17 as the boys made it to the locker rooms to prepare for the second half of the game.
By the fourth quarter, Cushing took a commanding lead and proved that the tigers were going strong with a final score of:
Cushing: 55
Glenpool: 36
A note of interest, statistic wise – Nick Tanner was high scorer in tonight’s matchup with a total of 24 points!
