(Cushing, Okla) Thousands of dollars in merchandise will be auctioned off during the 32nd Rotary Radio Auction this Sunday, Oct. 28th from 1-6 p.m! Proceeds from this fundraiser are used to fund youth programs, scholarships and local activities.
Cushing Rotary Club hosts: Cushing Public Library Summer Reading Program night swim and picnic, 3rd Grade Dictionary Project, University Scholarships, Annual Teacher Appreciation Banquet, “Fill the Bus” Campaign to assist teachers with school supplies, Rotary Youth Leadership Awards Camp, Student Rotary Guests of the Month, Rotary Park located on 9th Street, Summer Baseball League Team support and Little League Soccer Team.
The way the auction works: Each item listed on the bid sheet will be sold to the highest bidder. Items are auctioned off – in order from the bid sheet – a “block” at a time. Bids are accepted by phone and by bidders on site at the Cushing High School Agri-Civic Center, 1729 E. Main. All bids will be accepted in no less than $1.00 increments. Some items are marked as “All Day Items.” Merchandise sold during the auction must be picked up at the CHS Ag Center the day of the sale. Checks payable to Cushing Rotary Club. FIRST HIGH BID IS BUYER. ALL SALES ARE FINAL. MERCHANDISE SOLD AS IS WITHOUT WARRANTY.
