(Stillwater) - Stillwater citizens can currently apply to become members of various City of Stillwater Citizen Advisory Boards and Committees. Many of these Advisory boards will have openings and some appointments may be made at the February 15 meeting of the Stillwater city council meeting.

The following are committees or boards citizens may become a part of: Board of Adjustment, Sister Cities Council, Library Trust Board, Library Board, Business Improvement District #1 Advisory Board, Rural Water Advisory Board, Board of Drainage Appeals, Stillwater Convention and Visitors Bureau, the Use Tax Committee, and the Stillwater Regional Air Port Board.

Deputy City Manager Mary Rupp said about these boards and committees, "We encourage citizens who would like to be on a board to keep an application on file. They don't have to wait for an opening to submit a form."

The Advisory Board Application Form is available at the Stillwater Municipal Building, located at 723 S. Lewis, or you can obtain one online at www.stillwater.org .
