(Stillwater, Okla.) -- A 30-year-old Yale man who is accused of repeatedly sexually assaulting a 13-year-old girl in Yale was given a court-appointed attorney Thursday to represent him on a four-count charge on which he remains jailed without bail.
Jaime De La Torre, who is also being held for immigration authorities, could be given as much as two life prison terms plus 40 years if convicted of two counts of first-degree rape and two counts of forcible sodomy, court records show.
De La Torre is alleged to have raped and sodomized the girl on July 7 and July 14, according to court documents filed this week by prosecutor Jill Tontz.
