
Derreck Gray, 27, of Oklahoma City was charged on July 7, 2010 with shooting with intent to kill. On July 1, 2010 Stillwater Police Officer Ricardo Inciarte responded to a report of shots fired at 1815 north Boomer Road at 10:41 P.M. When contacting the victim, Cleo Jacobs, 26, Jacobs fled from Officer Inciarte and Fired shots in his directions. After speaking to witnesses, officers learned that there was an altercation between Gray and Jacobs, and Gray pulled a gun and fired towards Jacobs, missing his intended target.
On July 6, 2010 Gray was charged with possession of a fire arm after conviction of a felony, possession of cocaine and marijuana, and driving under revocation.
In April of 2010 Gray was charged with unlawful possession of controlled and dangerous substances with intent to distribute, and possession of marijuana, second and subsequent, this case is still pending.
Jacobs, was also arrested and charged with shooting with intent to kill. Jacobs, a convicted felon, was convicted in 2000 of robbery with fire arms and conspiracy to commit robbery with fire arms, in 2003 of assault and battery upon a police officer, obstructing a police officer, and public intoxication, in 2004 of unauthorized use of a vehicle, resisting arrest, public intoxication, possession of cocaine with intent to distribute, and child endangerment.
